Mendip Ashcott Stove
The Ashcott has a modest 4.7kw output suitable for modern sealed houses and will create a centre of warmth and a lovely view of the flames. The sculptured cast iron door gives a classic though modern slant to this stove and a convection top helps spread the heat to the room. The stainless steel air control is easy to operate and a magnetic door closing makes it an easy to use stove that you will soon regard as part of the interior and your everyday life.
The price is for the basic model, which is not Smoke Exempt. However, the Ashcott is available as an SE model, and it comes with both logstore and pedestal versions in the variants below.
The top plate is 424mm wide although the body is 405mm wide.

A magnetic stove pipe thermometer which will stick your first length of fluepipe and help you to keep your Mendip Ashcott Stove running within the correct burning range - so not too cool, where you could be creating tar in your chimney, or too hot, where you are wasting fuel and risk damaging your appliance.
