Skantherm Emotion S Stove

The Skanterm Emotion S is a stunning stove. From above you can see that the Emotion stove is shaped like an eye with the great wide window to the firebox running nearly the full width. Below the door to the right of the Skanterm Emotion S you can see that door handle melds in smoothly with the design of the stove. Lift the left hand handle and you find the air controls which are beautifully and clearly labelled as you would expect from such high end design. Prof. Wulf Schneider, the lead designer, says that: "Material, shape and function must by all means form a persuasive unit.", and he has certainly met these aims with the Emotion S.

The Skanterm Emotion S shown here with the standard base which gives you a log store under the stove. As an optional extra you can choose to have the base plain with a pull out drawer.  There is an insert for the drawer which provides you with separate compartments inside. You might also want a stove which can be rotated by 120º in which case you will need to choose that version. This option is really impressive but also useful in that you can turn the stove to face where you are in the room. The stove is also available with an independant from ambiant air option as well. This makes it one of the most sealed stoves on the marked and suitable for the modern house. At 83.2% efficient the Emotion S is a highly efficient woodburner which has a direct air connection to an external air supply duct pre-assembled. This external air supply is vital for modern well insulated, well sealed houses and in this type of house, at 4kW, the Emotion S would be ideal for the medium or large room. The upgrade for well sealed houses makes the stove airtight and is suited to very well sealed houses, for example houses which use MHRV systems.
