Dru 64 CB woodburning stove
The Dru 64 CB is a stove designed to seriously burn wood, year after year. Very solidly made from cast iron this stove comes in at 180kg: you really do get a lot of cast iron for your money. The Dru 64 CB is built to last and built to burn: use the right wood and you should be able to run this stove 24 hours a day without a problem. You can really get some long logs into the Dru 64 CB stove: up to 500mm long. Loading is made easier by the addition of the handy side opening door.
The Dru 64 CB gives out up to 11kW of heat (9kW nominal), and is a relatively narrow stove at only 650mm wide, but 750mm high. This means that you do not need a hugely wide fireplace opening to install the Dru 64 CB stove.
The clever yet simple air supply system provides preheated air to the airwash system and to the tertiary air supply jets at the back of the firebox. This makes the Dru 64 CB very well suited to efficient woodburning - wood burns best in a firebox well supplied with combustion air.
The Dru 64 CB comes with an ashpan as standard, which makes ash removal neater and easy.
Dru have recently introduced the facility for a direct air supply, making this stove suitable for well sealed, highly insulated houses.
