Wamsler Cooker Wood Pellet Stoves

Wamsler make innovative and practical cooking and central heating ranges designed to run efficiently on wood. Traditionally in England range cookers have been designed to burn coal which, because it is slow to heat up, were made entirely of cast iron to try and hold that heat. In contrast cooker stoves on the continent (like the Wamsler cookers) are designed to burn wood and so have bigger fireboxes and solid cast iron innards, but with a lighter steel casing. Because wood produces heat quickly and, unlike Agas or Rayburns, the hot flue gases are circulated around every side of the oven, you swiftly get a hot oven and hotplate. Wamsler cooker ovens are enamelled inside, making them easy to clean, and the oven has a temperature gauge and glass viewing window for ease of operation. Under the oven is a handy warming draw.

These Wamsler range cookers burn wood cleanly and efficiently and, because they have good sized back boilers, can easily heat water for central heating and domestic hot water. All their woodburning ranges are suitable for pressurised systems.

The new Wamsler K148 models have a window in the fire door which both lets you keep an eye on how the fire is doing and also means that your kitchen fills with firelight.

Wamsler have been making these ranges for many years and their cookers have stood the test of time.
