Fondis Ulys 900 Insert Wood Stove

The Fondis Ulys 900 insert stove has the same comfortable proportions as the Ulys 700 stove but is a larger model. The Ulys 900 insert stove has a heat output rating of 15.9 kW but please bear in mind that this is based on burning around 4kg of wood an hour. The Ulys 900 is a large insert with a big firebox and one could easily burn in excess of the 4kg of wood per hour, thus boosting the heat output great for those extremely cold days when all you want to do is sit by the glowing fire with a glass of wine and hear the rain against the window. Equally the Fondis can be turned down to burn slowly, consuming a minimum amount of wood and giving out just enough warmth to keep things cosy. Yet even set at minimum it will retain the flickering flames that are such a pleasure to watch.

The Fondis Ulys 900 insert stove is a dedicated woodburning stove which runs at an efficiency of 78%. There is the option to upgrade to the Ulys 900 catalyst version where the efficiency jumps to 81% with vastly reduced emissions. Narrow frames now available, these will be 100mm in depth as opposed to the standard frames of 160mm. Thus bringing the glass window closer to the face of the wall.
These narrow frames are installed where Thermalux board is being used.
