Stella 3 H700 inset stove

The Stella 3 H700 is the most popular of the Fondis models as it gives such a great view of the fire. For those of us who love nothing better than relaxing in front of a big roaring fire, and find that the window on an ordinary stove just doesn’t quite do it, this stove is definitely the answer.

Even better is if the urge for a traditional open fire really grabs you then simply slide up the guillotine door and there you have it!

Fondis stoves are known for their controllability and while quite capable of warming a big space, once the room is up to temperature this stove can be turned right down and will happily tick along, slowly burning just a couple of logs but still keeping a lovely flame pattern. The Stella 3 is a convection stove, which means that it draws cool air off the floor, heats it up around the stove body and then spreads a gentle warmth throughout the room and beyond. This results in a more even warmth in the room and allows you to sit around the stove without getting too hot.

So cleanly does the Stella 700 burn that it has the DEFRA Exemption that allows it to burn wood in smokeless zones, and is the only guillotine door stove to achieve that.

The Stella 3 gives you all the advantages of an open fire but all the efficiency, controllability and safety of a woodburning stove.
