We produce briquettes from clean waste wood and call the Cambridge Hotlogs. Cambridge Hotlogs have a much lower moisture content than firewood, meaning they burn better and produce much more heat. The timber used to make Cambridge Hotlogs is hand sorted and graded by the staff at Cambridge Wood Works, before being shredded and pressed into high density briquettes. Cambridge Hotlogs are supplied in 12.5kg bags from as little as £3.49 per bag when ordering 80 bags (1 tonne) or more. Youll get the best prices if youre able to buy direct and collect from us, however we can also deliver locally (up to 20 miles from Cambridge City Centre). Please choose the right option for you.
